I have always been bemused (or sometimes amused) watching the associations created by advertising and marketing. Browsing a magazine is a good way to understand what I mean: an advert for the latest electronic gadget may be followed by that of an NGO in favour of bringing clean water to some region of Africa.
So, walking at night in my town’s high street, brightly lit shop windows provided more opportunities to enjoy the funny or sinister aspects of shop displays. A small portfolio slowly grew. Please share with me your impressions and thoughts about this series of photographs.
